Tasting Profile
What began as an elite barrel selection blend has taken on a life of its own. We now designate specific rows within Blueline's best blocks specifically for 36. Cabernet reigns as ing of 36, comprising 89% of the 2018, with 10% Petit Verdot and 1% Franc completing the blend. The majority of fruit is from Block 7's "See Clone" planting - the same clone as Hourglass Estate. Powerful and brooding, it is densely woven with aromas of black currant, iron, lavender and hoisin, and flavors of cranberry, black cherry, aged soy and cedar box. With prominent, mouth filling tannins, it is easily a 20-year wine.
