Equally regal and refreshing, the 2020 Sauvignon Blanc displays a cascade of tropical, citrus, and stone fruit aromatics like no other vintage. Pineapple, kiwi, and guava are framed by Meyer lemon, lime zest, and peach blossom. On the palate, crisp Granny Smith apple, zippy lemon balm, and honeyed nectarine intertwine with hints of brioche and wet stone minerality, providing nuance throughout. 10% Semillon gives further depth and the mixture of steel and barrel fermentation contributes unparalleled texture. Frequent lees stirring adds mid-palate richness to offset the vibrant natural acidity yielding the textbook balance we seek.
